Service Description
Tarmac, grass, trails and hills…. We use all the incredible GREEN MILE routes, plus the surrounding forests, mountains and Taff Trails to offer the ultimate group running experiences about. AIM AND BENEFIT TO MEMBERS: To improve your speed, endurance and strength and resistance to injury. We use the full spectrum of running surfaces to rapidly improve members agility and joint strength. On some of our trails you need to plan and think about every step ahead of you, adjusting every step for different angles and grip, which activates stabilisers and endless micro movements in your knees, feet and ankles, that most people have never used by just running on the flat. This lack of these movements is what causes random injuries in everyday life and other sports. The GREEN MILE members have bullet proof knees and ankles! ABILITY A reasonable level of fitness is required for these run specific classes. A good guide is being able to run a 5K on the flat in approx 26 mins or less. But don’t worry if you’re not quite there yet, attending a few of our other classes such as Bootcamp or the ‘Session of the Day’ will quickly get you ready. LOCATION: Meet at the GREEN MILE changing rooms.
